Our Mission:

Generation Pivot is a podcast designed for everyone, with a special focus on high school students navigating their future paths. In our ever-changing world, individuals in this generation must be agile, constantly adapting and learning the art of pivoting. This multidisciplinary skill is now essential across all fields—whether in medicine, law, or entrepreneurship. However, many students today struggle to understand how to move from point A to point B. What does the journey look like for a future healthcare attorney or a social entrepreneur? How does a business-minded student forge their path? What steps should a politically inclined student take to enter politics, diplomacy, or international relations? As a generation of pivoters, we must develop skills across multiple disciplines. Generation Pivot seeks to answer these questions by sharing insights from successful individuals on unique journeys, offering a roadmap to help students carve out their own paths.

Why?

Reflecting on the rapid evolution from our parents' and grandparents' school days, it's clear how much the world has transformed. Many of them began careers in roles that no longer exist due to advancements in technology. Today, we navigate our work and studies with sophisticated AI tools and computers, a far cry from the resources available in previous generations. By the time we graduate college, even the devices we use now will likely be outdated , and automation will continue to reshape the  workforce. Unlike past generations, we may hold numerous roles throughout our lives, making job security an evolving concept. As these shifts occur, our interests adapt as well. Embracing flexibility and a positive attitude toward change will create more opportunities, helping us navigate an ever evolving landscape with resilience.
